It is our year-end show where participants get a chance to show off their successes, achievements and routines. Registration is an additional fee and participation is optional. We offer multiple show times on the same day at the end of our spring session.

Why don’t you offer competitive programming?

The focus of Kyle Shewfelt Gymnastics is the grassroots of the sport of gymnastics. We aim to develop a strong foundation and instill a lifelong love for being physically active in our participants. We want to provide a non-competitive gymnastic experience to all ages and ability levels so we can keep our environment light, fun and fitness focused. Calgary has many wonderful gymnastic clubs that do offer competitive programs. We would be happy to discuss a facility with you that will suit your needs and priorities if this is your interest. We have a blast with our current roster of unique and innovative non-competitive programs and we hope you will too.

Do you allow Make Ups for missed Classes?

Due to child/class/coach ratio and the structure of our programs, make up classes are NOT offered.

Do you have open gym?

Yes, we offer open gym! Go to our programs page and click on ‘Drop In’ for the latest info.

What is the facility like?

Our gym is just over 11,000 square feet. 3000 of this is dedicated to offices, washrooms, change rooms, multipurpose/yoga/birthday room and a parent viewing lounge. We are particularly proud of our parent viewing lounge as it offers a comfortable space for you to watch your child, catch up on work or relax and have a coffee. 8000 square feet is dedicated to the gymnastics space. Our state of the art facility is filled with the latest training devices, including one huge safety pit, two in ground trampolines, a 40 foot tumble track and various other apparatus (rings, bars, parallel bars, floor exercise, balance beams, Just For Kids, etc.) supplied by our official equipment partner, SA Sport.

Who are the staff at Kyle Shewfelt Gymnastics?

Our staff are hard working, fun people, who teach our participants the wonders of the great sport of gymnastics and all it has to offer. They are Team Players with great personalities… and they Love Children! Many of them were gymnasts themselves. They have years of coaching experience and all are NCCP Trained and/or Certified and possess their First Aid/CPR and Respect in Sport.

How do I enter the name of my referrer to earn their Shewbucks Referral Rewards?

After you’ve created an online account and register for a class, you will be required to purchase a GOLD MEDAL Membership. One of the questions you’ll be asked to answer is: What is the full FIRST and LAST name of the person who referred you to our club? For each family account (not each member) that names a referrer, we will apply one $10 credit to the account to use during future sessions. These credits are unlimited and never expire. Shewbucks referral credits can only be allocated by brand new members joining our facility as a member for the first time.

When do I get my Tshirt?

We will do our best to ensure all GOLD MEDAL Members receive their t-shirt on the first day of class, but we cannot guarantee it. All GOLD MEDAL Members will receive their shirt as soon as possible during their first session of enrolment. Please ensure you fill in the correct size as we will have limited quantities.

What is your Waitlist Policy?

If your desired class is full, please add yourself to the waitlist. If an open spot becomes available before the first day of a session or a camp, we will contact those on the waitlist in priority order based on the day and time they were added. Individuals will be given 24 hours to accept the open spot before we move to the next participant on the list. If a spot opens after the first day of classes/camp has passed, we will email everyone on the waitlist and the open spot will be available on a first come first served basis.
